Homicide Statistics in Sweden

This project was created as part of an assignment focused on data-driven animation. The goal was to visualize real statistics in a way that could fit into a TV series or similar format. I chose to base my animation on the Swedish crime series ”Svenska Fall”, using actual data on confirmed homicides in Sweden.

The background was designed in Adobe Photoshop, while the animation and data visualization were created entirely in Adobe After Effects.

The aim of the project was to explore how motion graphics and data can be combined to create engaging and informative visual storytelling for a crime-related context.
